“Bringer of Spring”, this is the title of the huge mural (400 m2) painted at the entrance of the main promenade in the city of Vlora. The aim of this mural is to promote the high natural and touristic values of the region. This graffiti inaugurated at the opening of tourism season, is realized by PPNEA and BSPB within the CEPF founded project “Land of Eagles and Castles”, with the support of Vlora municipality and inhabitants of the build where the mural is painted. A special thanks goes for the Bulgarian artists of “140 Ideas” which realized the mural, and for two distinguished citizens of Vlora, Mr. Selim Haskoçelaj and Mr. Admir Idrizaj, which gave an essential support for the accomplishment of this work. In the center of the mural stands the globally endangered Egyptian vulture, which flies over the region melting the white snow and bringing in light the colorful carpet of Vlora, symbolizing the high diversity of natural and touristic elements of the area. On the back of Egyptian vulture, stands the cuckoo, this is to illustrate the legend which has gave the name in Albanian “The horse of cuckoo” to the Egyptian vulture.
