From Location to Destination.

On December 4th, PPNEA and Bulgarian Society for Protection of Birds (BSPB) –Birdlife Bulgaria, organized a workshop for development of tourism brands for the three KBAs on the focus of the CEPF founded project “Land of Eagles and Castles”. This workshop has been developed under the expertize of one of the biggest and most successful companies of communication in Bulgaria, and it has been attended by the key local stakeholders coming from each KBA. The coastal KBAs in Albania, have great potentials for the development of community based nature tourism along the Albanian coastline. Development of sustainable tourism is considered nowadays as one of the most effective means of development and conservation and high nature value areas. Development and promotion of tourism brands for these areas will have a direct impact in increasing the number of visitors, and thus providing socio-economic benefits for local communities.
