Mirjan is the project manager of Lands of Eagles and Castles: Integrated Participatory Management for Albanian Coastal Biodiversity and he is involved in several other projects related to bird protection and sustainable development. Mirjan is a prominent ornithologist and is coordinating activities aiming at the survival of Egyptian Vulture in Albania. His main research interest are on raptor species.
Sabina is the newest biologist joined PPNEA and she is working as a project assistant in the new CEPF’s project, organizing and helping in coordination of different activities. Her main research interest are aquatic plants and marine mammals, such as the critically endangered species of Mediterranean Monk Seal.
Ledi has joined PPNEA firstly as a volunteer and currently she is working as a project assistant in the project Lands of Eagles and Castles: Integrated Participatory Management for Albanian Coastal Biodiversity. She is an Environmental Biologist and has a high interest in the conservation of nature issues, mostly in biodiversity protection and conservation. Ledi is focused mostly on the field of Ornithology and her research interest are birds, especially Egyptian Vulture.
Aleksandros is our new local officer in Vlora region. He is graduated in Aquaculture and Fishery Management at the Agriculture University of Tirana and has been involve in several project aquatic fauna, especially on projects related to the protection and conservation of sharks in Albanian territorial waters. Aleksandros has been volunteering in some of our activities before joining our team and now you may find him in our interesting and cool local office located in Vjose-Narte Protected Landscape. Xherri is PPNEA’s communication and media relation officer. In 2015, he joined PPNEA’s team as a volunteer and later on we was involved in the communication department helping in the preparation of the communication materials, maintenance of PPNEA’s website and social medias. He has a MSc degree in “Languages, Intercultural Communication and Sustainable Tourism” from Tirana University. His research interest are sustainable tourism and cultural and natural heritage studies and he is PPNEA’s drone pilot.
